Cookie Policy
Last updated: [Publication Date]
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies Estimo Pro uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site recognize your device across requests, remember information about your visit such as your language, and, where you consent, measure how the site is used.
Some of the technologies described below, such as OpenStreetMap's map tile requests, are not cookies stored on your device, but we mention them here because they involve a similar exchange of information with a third party while you use our site.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
We only use two categories of cookies:
- Necessary cookies: required for the core functioning of Estimo Pro — signing in, staying signed in, remembering your language, and remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off because the site cannot work properly without them, and under ePrivacy rules they do not require your consent.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how Estimo Pro is used, such as counting unique visitors to job postings, so we can improve it. These cookies are optional and are only set if you accept them — if you reject or ignore them, we still count anonymous page views in aggregate (a simple hit counter that identifies no one), but we do not set a cookie or track repeat/unique visits from your device.
3. Other Third-Party Network Requests (Not Cookies)
When a page shows a map, your browser loads map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap's servers. This is not a cookie, but it does mean OpenStreetMap's infrastructure receives your IP address and basic request information as part of delivering the map tiles, independent of your cookie preferences. See OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy at osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy for details.
4. How to Manage Your Preferences
When you first visit Estimo Pro, a cookie banner lets you Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Customize your choice by category. You can change your mind at any time using the “Manage Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer. You can also delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings, though blocking necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the platform.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use. Material changes will be reflected in a new “Last updated” date, and if we introduce new categories of cookies, we will ask for your consent again where required.
6. Contact
